The present lot is a precious one since it is a limited edition of 200 pieced realized in yellow gold and has been conserved nicely during all this time. Its unusual bell-shaped case is embellished with the sapphire cabochon on the winding crown, the 18k gold Cartier deployant buckle and the yellow-gold case back secured by four screws in the band. The dial is the classic Cartier style with the inner closed minutes track and back Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. This Cartier with this asymmetric design is one of the most memorable and fascinating watch models.
