The reference 26040ST, such as the present one, is part of the larger Royal Oak Offshore collection which was conceptualized and introduced in the 1990s, but this one is the particular “ALINGHI POLARIS” collection in a limited edition of 1935. Created as a tribute to the famous Alinghi’s victory at the America's Cup in 2003. The striking red, white and black chronograph display incorporates a unique 10-minute countdown arrangement specifically for regattas. The reverse-numbered inner flange can be rotaded by the 10 o'clock crown to allow countdown for a different number of minutes. The 43mm steel case and the steel bezel with 8 visible screws are still in perfect conditions like automatic movement calibre 2326/2847 that runs perfectly.
