At SIHH 2013, Panerai raised the curtain on a new bronze age: the Luminor Submersible 1950 PAM 507. This very model immediately strikes for its massive, 47 mm diameters, aged bronze case, a true new entry for the Italian brand and for the whole watch industry. Panerai’s bronze draws its enduring strength from the metal’s ability to shield itself from decay with a dynamic smoky green patina giving every single watch a distinctive unique look. Another notable detail is the green dial, further enhancing its military appeal, with applied dot numerals, big luminous hands, date and power reserve indication. The reference PAM00507 has been produced in a limited edition of only 1000 pieces, and the lot here offered is number 803 as testified by the engravings on the back. Furthermore, the lot comes with its original set composed of box and papers.
