The Datejust reference 1601 was introduced in 1959 as a variant of the 1600 with a reeded bezel. This specimen is absolutely desirable for the very beautiful 18k white-gold tonneau case with screw back and crown and fluted white-gold bezel. Moreover, it also bears a jubilee bracelet and Rolex deployant clasp. The dial, with highly attractive black and applied baton style indexes impress for its conditions.
