Rolex launched the Datejust in 1945 and is one of the most iconic watches ever produced by the Rolex brand. The reason why it has been called Datejust is pretty logical since this model has the capability to show “just” the date at the stroke of midnight. This watch features the classical waterproof Oyster case with the “cyclops” helping to read the roulette black/red date better. Preserved in NOS conditions, this specimen left the Rolex manufacture in 1950s and impresses for the quality of its case and condition of the dial. In fact on the caseback is clearly visible the original engraving "REGISTERED DESIGN" and "MODELE DEPOSE" very unusual to find as this disappeared immediately after being worn even for a few times. Another peculiarity of this watch is the dial with the magnificent untouched white color, decorated with applied dagger numerals and alpha rhodium hands. Exactly under the Rolex Oyster Perpetual stands the red writing “DATEJUST” that is very uncommon to find for this model. Moreover it’s sold with its original box and the tag.
