The present lot is one of the first specimen of 6263 ever made by rolex with a 2.8M case number from 1969. This reference featutes an acrylic black, graduated bezel and a very rare Paul Newman "Panda" Mark I dial, without any doubt, a dream watch among the collectors’ community. Monaco Legend is absolutely proud to offer to its clients this extremely well preserved ref.6263 Paul Newman, coming from the orginal owner family. The "Panda" configuration features a white matte dial that contrasts sharply with the black subsidiary dials and outer chapter ring. Featuring its original Mark I pushers known as millerighe, the tonneau case is in stainless steel, equipped with a beautiful Oyster bracelet maintaining a very high quality of preservation. This watch represents an extremely rare opportunity to acquire one of the “Holy Grail” models for vintage Rolex collectors.
