Repossi is an Italian jewelry designer’s house, founded in 1957 in Turin by Costantino Repossi. The house is built around three generations that follow each other from Father to Son, and from Father to Daughter. After studying industrial design, Costantino Repossi took over the Italian workshops of his father during the post-war period. He opened the first eponymous boutique in Turin. His son Alberto took up the reins of creation at a very young age, opening his first boutique in Monte Carlo in 1979 and then in Paris in 1986. Since 2007, Gaia Repossi, his daughter, appointed Artistic Director of the House at only 21 years old, has been regenerating the collections with her innovative creative vision in a spirit that is both timeless and avant-garde by reinventing traditional jewelry codes into a new incarnation where jewels become a second skin. During all these years, Repossi has produced wonderful creations such as the lot offered: the R4SA chronograph wristwatch with its two-body octagonal, stepped steel case is embellished with a set of 132 round diamonds and the back is secured with 8 screws. The dial is very particular with an anthracite color, luminous white steel lozenge hands, applied stainless steel Roman numbers, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 30-minute and 12-hour registers, date aperture at 3 all closed in a curved sapphire crystal. The watch is powered by an automatic movement Valjoux based and completed by its original box.
