The Maison Repossi was founded in Turin, Italy in 1957 by Costantino Repossi. For three generations and all around Europe, Turin to Monaco in 1978, a ding to Paris, Place Vendôme, in 1986 the brand has been able to amaze offering timeless and avant-garde timepieces which combines artistic and architectural inspirations with the exceptional know-how of its designers. Repossi has relied on the heritage of craftsmanship for over 40 years and each creation is handcrafted exclusively in France and Italy. Having worked with the same Italian workshops for generations to guarantee technical know-how and constant quality, the result was some aesthetically appealing wristwatch with the top level reached with R4 Monaco Chronograph, explored in many ways with many case decorations and dials. The lot here offered is one of the most lavish and precious someone can desire: the Art-Deco-style case has a very unusual octagonal shape with stepped sides inclined lugs made in stainless steel PVD is embellished with two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds for a total of 132 stones. The dial is remarkable, fully realized in a white mother-of-pearl and a striking pave diamond-set center, applied stainless steel Roman numbers, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 30-minute, 12-hour registers, date aperture at 3 and box.
