When pronouncing the name “Turnograph” immediately, the mind goes to Rolex. Considering its sporty style, it comes with no doubts that this model has been produced by the sportiest brand in the world of horology. Anyway, also another brand which instead is universally known for dress and elegant watches has decided to create a watch with the exact same name and a sport/tool layout. The reference 6782 of Vacheron here offered features a water-resistant case and rotating bezel to measure elapsed time. Despite its solid case, this model remains an overtly luxurious timepiece with a huge attention to details just as the Vacheron tradition dictates the milling of the bezel, the use of gold instead of stainless steel for the case, are just a couple of tips on which concentrate and admire. This 6782 is offered in exquisite condition, still retaining all of its original factory finishes, with lugs displaying original quality and clear defined lines, while the silver “Star Burst” dial is clean and in all original condition. Made predominantly in yellow gold, the present reference 6782 is only the fourth white-gold version known, just one number away from the one offered at Phillips in May 2019. Ahead of its time, with a waterproof case, rotating bezel and overall sporty look, this very watch is absolutely a precious and unusual Vacheron’s creation that is absolutely not easy to find.
