Rolex Bubbleback is one of the most versatile models ever produced by the brand: among the many variants of the legendary “bubble back” series, this very nice hooded lugs reference 3599 is probably the most sought-after one, standing out for its many details and qualities. The three-body steel case, very well preserved and presents a smooth, concave bezel, screw down back and crown and hooded cachet lugs. The mat silver dial has gained a supercool patina which transformed the original color to a light-yellow one and bears luminous batons and Arabic numbers with outer minutes division, feuille gold hands and seconds at six o’clock. At 12’oclock under the Rolex signature is important to underline the crown stamped, it is the logo of an important Rolex retailer: Verga. Since 1947, the Orologeria Luigi Verga has been located only steps away from the Milan Cathedral in via Mazzini. The shop is the result of the work and the efforts of Luigi and his son Valerio Verga, the current business manager.
