Repossi was founded in 1957 in Turin by Costantino Repossi. Repossi has relied on the heritage of craftsmanship for over 40 years and each creation is handcrafted exclusively in France and Italy. The company has belonged to the Repossi family now for three generations to guarantee technical know-how and constant quality, the result was some aesthetically appealing wristwatch with the top level reached with R4 Monaco Chronograph, explored in many ways with many case decorations and dials. The lot here offered is one of the rarest produced in a limited edition of only 500 pieces with an unusual octagonal shape with stepped sides inclined lugs remanding to an Art-Deco style. Fully made in steel powered by an automatic movement showed by a glass on the case back the chronograph functions are activated by two buttons positioned around the crown. The watch is completed by a beautiful white enamel dial with painted Roman numbers for the hours, central blue hand for the seconds, the 30-minute and 12-hour registers, date aperture at 3, blue hands for arranging the time and its original box.
