The here offered Daytona 16520 left the Rolex manufacture in 1989 and is an absolute beauty not only for its quality but also for the accessories that come with it. Fully realized in stainless steel with a solid Oyster bracelet, the three body case with screw down pushers and tachometer graduation on the bezel to 400 units is preserved in almost new old stock conditions with still the satin finish on the lugs and no signs on the case. Featured with a black dial with applied luminous white-gold baton indexes and silvered subsidiary seconds, the watch also comes in total full set composed of box, warranty, booklets, invoice, calendar and tag and additional links. All of those accessories are beautiful and confirm its authenticity and provenance, making it a spectacular watch. Anyway, the most precious detail of the present specimen is the prestigious Beyer signature on the dial, slightly below the “Cosmograph” designation. Beyer is the oldest watch shop in Switzerland founded in 1760 with its base in Zurich and during its over bicentenary history had the chance to personalize some rare dials with its signature, making them even more prestigious.
