The present watch is a Girard-Perregaux world time chronograph wristwatch introduced in circa 2000. The world time is a phenomenally practical complication indicated by an inner rotating bezel featuring 24 different cities with the corresponding time zone. Furthermore, the watch is chronographic and enables the wearer to start, stop and reset in order to register an interval of time. With a very elegant and massive rose gold case, it has a transparent case back with 6 screws, concave lugs, crown at 9 to rotate the city disc, another one at 3 for time setting and adjusting the night/day function plus the pushers for the chronograph. The dial is anthracite grey with applied luminous round pink gold indexes and gold Arabic 12, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer revolving ring with painted Arabic numerals for 24 hours, outermost revolving disc bearing names of 24-world locations and aperture for the date between 1 & 2. The watch is complete with practical complications for the explorers and jetsetters of the world and is further sold with the original box and papers.
