Audemars Piguet has been known for its Royal Oak collection and Perpetual Calendar functions watches, but the brand has also created many magnificent and intriguing gem-set jewelry watches back in the days. The present Audemars Piguet is a combination of elegance, refinement and innovation, as well as a remarkable demonstration of skill. The integrated 18k yellow-gold bracelet has a very robust structure of great effect. Presented in a well-kept condition for its age, it is a great example of Audemars Piguet jewelry watch in the 1970s with the gold clasp that still shows all the extremely light and deep hallmarks. The rectangular-rounded case has a special bezel that has the exact same pattern of the bracelet, making it a unique effect. The dial is simply astonishing: the champagne-colored surface features a “net” decoration in which brilliant-cut rubies are set at each point of intersection, lending color, movement and luminosity to the entire watch. Totally clean, the only element that breaks this geometric pattern is the AP logo at 12 o’clock, also in gold. Fascinating and glamorous, the present watch is offered in remarkable conditions and quality.
