The importance of the automatic Cosmograph Daytona cannot be underestimated, now over 30 years since its introduction, the automatic Daytona has itself become hugely desirable and sought after by collectors. The first reference of the new automatic era was the 16 520, available in steel, all gold (reference 16 528) or steel and gold (reference 16 523) and featured a larger 40 mm case that was for the first time made with crown guards. The here offered Rolex Daytona 16 520 is an absolute beauty. Fully realized in stainless steel with a solid Oyster bracelet, the three body case with screw down pushers and tachometer graduation on the bezel to 400 units is in incredible conditions. Featured with a black dial with applied luminous white-gold baton indexes and silvered subsidiary seconds. The watch comes with its original Warranty and Rolex green sticker on the back.
