Since its debut in 1998, the IWC Portuguese Chronograph Ref. 371 416 has become the most sought-after, the most recognizable and certainly the best-selling model in the Portuguese family. The present specimen is presented in excellent conditions. It is distinguished by its essential style, based on eminently functional with a focus on legibility, breaking with the prevailing trend of overly designed Art Deco watches. The yellow-gold case with concave lugs and case back secured by four screws also offer the typical ultra-thin bezel allowing a bigger dial. In this watch the dial is silvered, whose key elements are the gold applied Arabic numerals, leaf-shaped hands and a functional minutes/seconds track.
