Unlikely basically all the other brands, Cartier, in order to create a dual time watch, decided to collocate two mechanical movements into one case and a dial split in two sections for the time indication, giving the watch a particularly vibrant look. The Tank Cintrée was always produced in limited quantities and the present watch is a very limited piece made in fully platinum. Its seductive case with long sides and curved back is definitely well preserved and on the band presents two faceted crowns with sapphire cabochons. The silvered dial, as said, is bipartite: the upper part has the classic Tank configuration with large, black painted full Roman numerals while the lower one has black painted markers and Roman quarters.
