This reference 4134 perfectly captured the Rolex’s essence of ingenuity adding a distinctive flair. Its style is essential and basic, set mainly on an elegant aesthetic and a delicate shape. Simply amazing it is actually very rare: unusually large for its era, the pink-gold case has been embellished with teardrop lugs in order to add a pinch of elegance to the whole watch. Fitted with non-Oyster, snap back case, the condition of preservation of this specimen are remarkable, with very deep and clear engravings on the back. The dial has black Arabic numerals, applied baton indexes, outer dot minute track, pink Dauphine hands, subsidiary seconds at 6 with a charming patina but still in nice conditions. The present watch features a timeless 1940’s design that is absolutely elegant even for today’s tastes.
