Founded by Louis-François Cartier in Paris in 1847, the legendary firm, from its beginnings, has been associated with exquisite craftsmanship and classic, sophisticated elegance. The Tank Louis Cartier was first made in 1922 and the original model, worn by Louis Cartier himself, came with rounded bran card shoulders, which gave it an Art Deco Style. This model is now considered one of the most iconic of Cartier and over these more than 100 years many editions have been realized. The present 18k yellow-gold watch is a lady version of the original one and presents the same rectangular shape and rounded corners but some other special features. First of all, the whole sides of case and lugs have been embellished with brilliant cut diamonds making the watch extremely lavish. In order to match the case, the dial as well has been set with a full pavè decoration and the iconic blue cabochon have been replaced with a diamond one, so as to be able to follow a unique stylistic line. With no indexes or signature on the dial, the watch is extremely attractive and also come with its original box.
