The present timepiece is a rare example of the Datejust reference 69 178, manufactured exclusively with a fluted bezel, and featuring a very captivating orange coral dial. Produced in small numbers by Rolex, this attractive and unusual combination boasts history, comfort, and function, having adorned the wrists of some seriously powerful and influential women. Over the years, Rolex has and continues to experiment with many different dial designs using a variety of hard stones. Due to their fragile nature, many of these dials break during production, which increases manufacturing costs, making these watches highly sought after by collectors. It is offered in great condition with its original yellow-gold Oyster bracelet and hidden deployant clasp.
