One of the world’s oldest watch brand, Vacheron Constantin, has upheld its reputation for elegance and craftsmanship since its founding in 1755. Renowned for its heritage of producing refined dress watches, the present time-only automatic wristwatch, reference 12RVSC2, is a prime example of this tradition.. Not an ordinary example, this Vacheron Constantin showcases incredibly crisp and distinctive fancy lugs, interesentigly, the case was produced in France, featuring correct French hallmarks, it is further accompanied by a 1952 receipt from Louis Augis, confirming its provenance, along with a Vacheron Constantin certificate of origin also stamped 1952. The silvered dial is elegantly designed, featuring applied yellow-gold dagger and Roman numerals. On the outer edge, the open chemin de fer minute track is seamlessly complemented by the center-seconds hand, further enhancing the timepiece’s refined aesthetic.. Preserved in excellent overall condition and accompanied by its original certificate, extract, and bill of sale from 1952, this remarkable wristwatch presents a rare opportunity to acquire a truly classic and distinguished timepiece.
