Timeless yet audacious, elegant yet experimental—this Boucheron Carré wristwatch captures the maison’s golden age of creativity, when horology and haute joaillerie met with daring flair. A rare example among the Carré and Reflet lines, it embodies the bold Parisian spirit that defined Boucheron’s mid-century output. Conceived in the 1960s, the Reflet and Carrè brought Boucheron to the forefront of stylish watchmaking. The Carré, with its squared case and pared-back elegance, offered a geometric alternative—subtle, refined, and resolutely modern. This example is crafted in yellow gold with a striking hammered finish on the bracelet, a masterstroke of goldsmithing. Framed by a bezel set with vivid blue sapphires, the minimalist hammered dial has no indexes or signatures, keeping the focus on texture and form. The caseback, crisply engraved with Boucheron and Omega signatures, reveals the collaboration behind its precision, with a movement also signed Omega. With a light oxidation on the bracelet, it remains beautifully preserved.
