This flat Tortue example, crafted in lightweight titanium and lavishly set with brilliant-cut diamonds, demonstrates Journe’s ability to unite technical ingenuity with aesthetic restraint. The diamonds trace the flowing curves of the case with precision and discipline, enhancing rather than overwhelming its elegant silhouette. The luminous white dial centre, bold Arabic numerals, and blued steel hands create a composition that feels at once modern and enduring.
At its heart is the exclusive Calibre 1210, an electromechanical movement developed specifically for the Élégante line. Equipped with a motion detector, the watch enters standby mode after a period of inactivity to conserve energy; once worn again, it automatically resets the hands to the correct time. Further elevating this example is its provenance. The present watch was awarded to the winning couple of the 2022 Riva Trophy, organised by Madame Lia Riva in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco, celebrating important milestones in Riva’s storied history.
