Introduced in the late 1990s, the Marine Hora Mundi represents Breguet's elegant interpretation of the world-time complication, seamlessly combining the Maison's traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary sporting aesthetic. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the present example is fitted with the highly desirable integrated bracelet, a configuration encountered far less frequently than its leather strap counterpart. The beautifully executed silvered guilloché dial is centred by a finely engraved globe motif, surrounded by a rotating 24-hour ring and the names of 24 international cities, allowing for an intuitive reading of a second time zone. Powered by a self-winding movement and offered complete with its original box and papers, this 2001 example represents one of the most refined and collectible executions of the early Marine collection.
