Patek Philippe watches have always been recognized as the collectable piece par excellence. The reference 5040 was introduced in 1992, remain in production until 2007 and during that time, Patek offered this reference in yellow, white, and rose gold, in addition to platinum. This reference is the first tonneau-shaped with a perpetual calendar model in a 1930s-inspired case measures 36 mm × 43 mm, still remaining to the classic and timeless styling, and the same caliber, the 240Q which has been used for decades.
