Introduced in 1950, the Movado “Polygraph” World Time was produced in both gold and steel. The present example, reference 18150, is crafted in steel. The 37mm-wide case has a rotating bezel with deep milling, all preserved in very nice condition. Turning the bezel allows the user to match the time zone of the desired city with the red crescent 24-hour hand. The silvered dial features applied gold Arabic and dart numerals, a subsidiary dial for the constant seconds, an outer yellow and black 24-hour graduation, and an outermost ring bearing the names of 28 cities around the world.
