Vacheron Constantin is the oldest continuing watch manufacturer today, and over the course of their 266 years history has been capable of given life to some of the most complicated wrist and pocket watches ever appeared on the market. In 1993 they decided to release a new family of super complicated pocket watches available only under special order of a client as part of the “Complications” collection. The present reference 57215 is one of these incredibly rare creations. The larger and heavy hunter case at 237 grams is in excellent overall condition as is the silvered dial with triple calendar, moon phases and leap year indication. This very watch watch is a fine example of a modern Vacheron Constantin dress watch featuring this magnificent complication. The perpetual calendar feature on a watch is a must-have for any watch collector. It is the one complication that the wearer must have patience for, as it takes a full four year cycle. Furthermore, this watch is sold with the Vacheron’s international warranty dated 3 February 1999.
