The watch here offered is an elegant specimen with triple calendar moon phase complication produced by Patek Philippe. It is an exponent of the reference 1526, manufactured from 1940 to 1952, available in the course of years cased in predominantly in yellow gold, small series in pink gold and just one known in steel. This masterpiece combines a Calatrava-style case and a minimalist dial audaciously ahead of its time. Furthermore, reference 1526 was the first serially produced perpetual calendar wristwatch: the present watch displays a very attractive 34 mm case in yellow gold very well preserved. Long thick lugs and thin bezel enhance the impression of size and wrist presence. The dial is in magnificent condition and provides an elegant and serene contrast with the yellow gold case. The black day and month are indicated by a window at 12 o'clock and the date via a particular hand at six o'clock inside the aperture of the moon phase and completed by another hand indicating the constant seconds in the same position. With applied Arabic and dot numerals, the elegance of this timepiece it’s extremely popular.
