The most exceptional and perfectly preserved example of 1950’s Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph wristwatch, reference 1518, in 18k Pink gold with Pink dial, once property of Prince Mohammed Tewfik A. “T.A.” Toussoun of Egypt. The prince acquired this reference 1518 on July 25, 1951, as confirmed by the original certificate delivered with the watch. To date, itremains the only known “pink on pink” ref. 1518 preserved together with its original certificate. The timepiece stayed in his possession from the time of purchase and appears to have been worn only sparingly, which accounts for its remarkably well-preserved, near-pristine condition.
