Within the wide range of vintage dive watches, this skin diver by Baume & Mercier is a real gem. This seldom seen Baume & Mercier has a matte black “T-SWISS MADE-T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks or defects while the tritium for baton and Arabic numerals, which remains fully intact, has aged nicely. The three-body all stainless steel case of 34 mm is in excellent condition showing minor wear and no signs of oxidation with sharp edges and the black bezel, which rotates very stiffly, presents beautifully. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “STAINLESS STEEL AUTOMATIC SWISS MADE SKIN DIVER 12 ATMOSPHERES WATERPROOF INCABLOC” and right in the middle is engraved the most precious detail of the whole watch: the Khanjar logo extremely well preserved and readable with very deep engravings. Moreover, the Khanjar logo is also engraved inside the case back.
