The 1988 is the first year of production of the reference 16 618, equipped with the caliber 3135 and the calendar with quick functions. The model was available with a variety of dial versions, with applied diamond and sapphire (Sultan), with black dial and like in the offered one here with a blue sunburst dial. The reference was in production until 2010. The here offered 16 618 has a yellow-gold bracelet with flip lock deployant in very good condition, and the case is perfectly preserved. As for the dial, the bezel was also produced combined with the type of dial, and in fact, to maintain a monochromatic effect, the blue dial was combined with a blue insert, while the black dial was produced with a black insert. The watch is sold with its original box. Certainly not the classic aesthetic of the Rolex Submariner, the Sultan dial offers something slightly different for those who appreciate their unique and luxurious style.
