Rolex introduced a new reference system for the Day-Date model with 1803 that could have a yellow, white or pink-gold case with reeded bezel and plexiglass crystal. This reference was available with colored dials that had the appearance of enamel, among all of them black is most likely among the most appreciated version. The present lot 1803 has a wonderful black dial with applied baton indexes and Italian calendar. The yellow-gold case perfectly matches with the dark color of the dial and has a big presence on the wrist. The present lot is also sold with its original warranty.
