In 1921, Cartier introduced the Tank Cintrée: an elongated, curved, bold version of the Tank. Around 80 years later decided to produce a very particular collection like the present Tank Cintrée dual time zone. The lot offered is the number 45 of only 50 total examples as reported by the engraving on the case back, has been realized in platinum and preserved in almost mint conditions. This gentleman’s wristwatch has two independent mechanical movements, capable of showing two different time zones, one with fully Roman numerals and the other with both Arabic and Roman ones. The main rarity of this Tank Cintrée Dual Time Zone is its special salmon guilloché dial.
