Cartier first launched the “Collection Privée, Cartier Paris” in 1998 to celebrate some of the most renowned models like Santos, Tortue or, such as the present specimen, the Tank. Produced in a limited edition of only 50 pieces, the watch here offered has a platinum case was the only one not bearing the “Paris” signature on the dial. Its curved lines are conserved in pristine, almost new condition, with no signs of use like the carved cabochon, perfect in its conservation. The dial has the classic Cartier style with big Arabic numerals, inner minutes track in black and the Breguet-style hands. The present lot is the number 4 of the collection as confirmed by the number engraved on the case back.
