The present lot is a supercool exponent of the Gondolo collection, precisely a reference 3842. This model was in production between 1983 and 1998 and its unusual construction of the case makes it appreciated by Patek’s aficionados. This lot has been manufactured in platinum and is composed of a two-body solid case secured by a screw on the back and sapphire crystal: it is in incredible fresh conditions with clean bend and no evident signs of wearing. The watch is also equipped with a grain the riz platinum bracelet and the original PP clasp. The dial is silver with applied white-gold Breguet numerals, applied outer perlage for minutes and white-gold Breguet hands also very well preserved. This watch is also provided with the extract from the archives confirming its production in platinum in 1986 and subsequent sale on the 7th of May 1987.
