The present Speedmaster reference ST 145.0022 is one of a very limited series of watches made in 2001. As demonstrated by the extract from the Omega archives, it is a prototype powered by the manual caliber 861 and especially created to commemorate the attack on the Twin Towers happened on the 11th of September 2001. Its red, shiny dial it’s simply incredible and captures the eyes of a watch lover for its intensity. Some signs of age and use do not affect the beauty and specialty of this extraordinary dial. On the case back a tribute to patriotism and fortitude with the enamel American flag flapping in the wind and the words “New York is still here”. A highly sought after model, the present watch is even more collectible for its being a prototype.
