Since its debut in 1998, the IWC Portugieser Chronograph Ref. 3714 has become the most sought-after, the most recognizable, and certainly the best-selling model in the Portugieser family. The present specimen is pressed in excellent conditions and sold with its original box and papers. It is distinguished by its essential style, based on eminently functional with a focus on legibility, breaking with the prevailing trend of overly designed Art Deco watches. The stainless steel case with concave lugs and screw back also offer the typical ultra-thin bezel allowing a bigger dial. In this very watch the dial is silvered, whose key elements are simple blue applied Arabic numerals, leaf-shaped hands and a functional minutes/seconds track.
