The present watch reference 1625 is a later reinterpretation of the original “Thunderbird”, name driving from the USAF demonstration squadron, and was in production from 1959 to 1977. With its iconic bi-directional bezel in yellow gold equipped on a stainless steel case with bimetallic jubilee bracelet fully well preserved, this lot is truly fascinating and eye-catching. The blue dial is also very rare not only for its color but mainly for the Khanjar logo at 9 o’clock.
