The Vacheron Overseas is a watch inspired by the sea and by the lines of the Vacheron Constantin '222' and represents a practical watch with a classic, yet very sporty look. Originally launched in 1999 under the Vacheron Constantin reference 49140, the first iteration of this watch was in production until 2004 when it was replaced by the 49150, such as the present lot. The case is composed of three body, with screw back notched steel bezel, screwed-down buttons and winding crown, all very nicely finished and preserved. The dial has a black guilloché pattern with applied steel luminous indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, aperture for the double-digit date at 12. Luminous steel baton hands. Fitted with a bracelet whose design that features the 'v' shape element of the Maltese cross, the watch comes with its original box and papers.
