The present lot is one of the greatest Rolex steel oversized Calatrava time-only ever produced by crowned brand, with its 37.5 mm diameter wide: it is something uncommon for Rolex standards considering the stylish and elegant concave lugs, apparently a bit less massive if compared to the rest of the whole case. In the last years, this three-body very thin case in steel has been preserved with obsessive cure by one of the biggest Rolex collectors and this is testified by the quality of the edges and the crispness of the serial numbers on the back.
