Model: Celestial Reference: 5102G-001 Case Material: White Gold Bracelet Material: Leather Strap Year: 2006 Movement: Automatic Caliber: 240 LU CL Case N°: 4295569 Movement N°: 3 328 280 Dimensions: 43 mm Signed: Dial, movement and case Accessories: Box, Papers and Invoice The extraordinary example here offered is a unique specimen of the reference 5102 which debuted in 2002, first in white gold only, to be later replaced with yellow gold and finally with pink gold and platinum combination. Featuring a Celestial canopy on the dial, this astronomical timepiece is a representation of the Northern skies on the wrist. The elliptical window highlights that portion of the sky currently visible as the stars and moon travel around the dial in a dance of carefully calibrated rotations. It accurately displays the Milky Way with three layers of sapphire discs, working in conjunction with the caliber 240 to simulate the motion of the moon and the stars. Hours and minutes are displayed by two pierced white hands. A delicate elliptical contour on the inside of the glass frames the portion of the sky that can be seen from all cities that share the latitude of Geneva. Preserved in pristine conditions, this watch is still sealed in its original envelope, never opened nor worn and accompanied by the Original Warranty confirming the sale of the present watch in white gold on January 10, 2006.
