While the Royal Oak maybe Audemars Piguet’s most famous and iconic model, the company also excels in gem-set jewelry watches, as exemplified by this opulent watch. Immaculately decorated with precision and dedicated craftsmanship, the present example shows a dial dressed in an explosion of sparked diamonds, positioned in a geometrically perfect manner so that it looks like a real framework. With an unusual octagonal elongated shape, the bezel is decorated in a manner reminiscent of an intertwining of branches, which, in some ways, is echoed in the structure of the integrated bracelet, woven into a fine mesh that lightens the entire watch, which is made of 18-karat white gold. The dial also features an additional decoration for each individual diamond that resembles two spearheads, forming a sort of rhombus, a truly obsessive attention to detail from the Audemars master craftsmen.
