Patek Philippe has always been devoted to the relationships with its retailers. For this reason, in order to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Roman retailer, Hausmann & Co. in 1994 was released a celebrative Calatrava reference 5000F. Extremely rare examples made in only 100 pieces, this present example is a 34 mm 18k pink gold wristwatch with a brown alligator leather strap and 18k pink gold deployant buckle, matching the case for an extremely handsome appearance. Preserved in almost unworn conditions the hallmarks and, most of all the engraving on the back “Hausmann & Co - 1794—Roma - 1994” are perfectly intact and clear. The piece features an ivory dial with applied pink gold Breguet numbers, an outer minute track, as well as a subsidiary dial indicative of the seconds sitting at the 4 o’clock position. In addition to its clean, classic aesthetic, the piece is self-winding, water-resistant and is sold with its Certificate of Origin confirming case, movement and sale date, and its original Box and booklets.
