The Tank by Cartier appeared in 1917 and was marketed in 1919. The present Tank Cintrée from 2005 is a marvel of finesse and design ingenuity, part of the Collection Privée. The seductive case of the present Tank Cintrée with its long case sides, curved back is in full 18k white gold, preserved in very nice conditions with two faceted crowns with sapphire cabochons, perfect solution for the Dual-Time complication. Powered by two independent mechanical movements, this watch is capable of showing on a black dial two different time zones, one indicated with all twelve Roman numerals while the other with just 3-6-9-12 Roman numerals. The watch is supplied with a gorgeous solid white-gold bracelet. Both dial and bracelet, have been added later under special request of a very important Cartier client.
