Widely regarded as the first truly modern independent watchmaker, Franck Muller emerged in the late 20th century as a figure who reshaped haute horlogerie beyond the traditional Swiss maisons. The present reference 7885 RMT QP represents one of Franck Muller’s most ambitious creations: a platinum wristwatch combining a perpetual calendar, minute repeater, and tourbillon within a single curved case. The calendar displays are balanced and legible, while the tourbillon at 6 o’clock anchors the dial both visually and mechanically. The minute repeater, activated by a slide on the case flank, is particularly noteworthy.
