The Tudor OysterDate “Monte-Carlo” stands as one of the most expressive chronographs of the 1970s, a decade when design dared to be bold and personality mattered as much as performance. Few watches capture that spirit with such confidence. The nickname, borrowed from the famous casino, is no coincidence: the dial explodes with colour, geometry and rhythm, evoking the spinning energy of a roulette wheel frozen in time.
What makes the Monte-Carlo particularly compelling is the tension between playfulness and seriousness. Beneath the vibrant grey dial, punctuated by orange, black and white accents, lies a robust chronograph architecture closely related to contemporary models produced by Rolex.
