Rolex’s Cosmograph Daytona is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and desirable chronographs ever produced. Introduced in 1963 as a professional timing instrument for motorsport, it has evolved into a symbol of precision, technical mastery, and enduring design, appreciated for both performance and unmistakable aesthetic presence.
At the turn of the 21st century, Rolex presented one of the most unconventional interpretations of this legendary model: the so-called “Daytona Beach.” Produced for a limited period, the series was offered in four vibrant dial colors; green, blue, pink, and yellow, and crafted exclusively in 18K white gold. Each watch was paired with a matching colored strap, reinforcing the collection’s distinctive, summery personality and setting it apart from any other Daytona generation.
The present example features the striking turquoise dial, often described as Tiffany-tone for its vivid luminosity.
