Dating to the late 1920s, the present watch is a rare Audemars perpetual calendar pocket watch, representing a fine example of the manufacture’s production of complicated timepieces during this period. Crafted in 18K yellow gold, the watch features an elegant silvered dial with a particularly attractive layout, enhanced by applied Breguet-style Arabic numerals. The perpetual calendar indications are harmoniously arranged across the dial, complemented by the moon-phase display at 6 o’clock, creating a refined and balanced overall appearance. Produced in Switzerland, the watch was subsequently sold in France, as evidenced by the distinctive French owl import hallmarks stamped on the case.
