A refined and highly uncommon example of late 1930s Patek Philippe production, this elegant carré wristwatch is particularly desirable for its double signature by the prestigious Roman retailer Hausmann & Co., a feature highly appreciated by collectors. The rectangular case, measuring 27.5 mm by 39 mm, is distinguished by its rare two-tone construction combining yellow and white gold, enhancing the watch’s architectural design and distinctive presence. The silvered dial features applied baton indexes, a chemin de fer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock, all arranged in a balanced and elegant composition. Powering the watch is the manual-winding calibre 9-90, one of Patek Philippe’s most celebrated rectangular movements of the period. Combining a rare two-metal case, a sought-after retailer signature, and timeless Art Deco-inspired design, this watch represents a highly collectible example of Patek Philippe’s golden age.
