Dating to 2008, the present Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 5719/1G-001 represents an exceptionally luxurious interpretation of the iconic sports watch, combining its unmistakable architecture with an elaborate high-jewellery execution. Crafted in 18K white gold, the watch retains the characteristic porthole-inspired case and integrated bracelet of the Nautilus, while the extensive use of diamonds lends it a striking presence. The bezel is fully pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, following the distinctive contours of the case, while the dial is entirely pavé-set with diamonds. The integrated 18K white gold bracelet continues the same lavish aesthetic, with its articulated links fully pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds. Each link is framed by polished white gold, creating a refined geometric pattern and emphasizing the fluid construction of the bracelet. Powered by an automatic movement, reference 5719/1G-001 perfectly illustrates Patek Philippe’s ability to reinterpret a fundamentally sporty design through the language of high jewellery. Presented as a complete set with its original box and papers, the present example offers a particularly complete representation of this distinctive reference.
